Do HSR products contain parabens, silicons and mineral oils?

None of the hair products contain parabens, although from a scientific point of view there is nothing wrong with using methyl paraben and ethyl paraben. These oxidise on contact with the body (hair), but we have not used these either.

Only the Caring Spray contains dimethicone as silicone. This is very different from the much-discussed cyclomethicone. Imagine that every injection needle is treated with dimethicone to improve penetration into the muscles!

I know that silicones have a bad connotation because they break down into silica in the skin and can become carcinogenic. But you have to take into account the fact that there are different types of silicone and you can't lump them all together. The dimethicone used in this case is too large to penetrate the cells, so there is no danger whatsoever. It helps retain moisture in the hair and prevents frizz. It also protects against heat from styling and prevents your hair colour from fading. So it's best that we keep this ingredient!
