Privacy policy

When you order something, we need your details to make sure we can deliver your order. But we always treat your personal data with care. We take care of them and keep them safe. What we do with your personal data and why we need them is explained here. If you have any questions after reading our privacy policy, please feel free to contact our customer service. 

Who is responsible for processing my personal data? 
Nannic International BV, located at Impulsstraat 15, 2220 Heist op den Berg, Belgium, is the data controller as described in this privacy policy.

When does this privacy policy apply? 
This privacy policy applies to all personal data that Nannic processes from anyone who has (had) contact with Nannic, such as our visitors, customers and business contacts, on all Nannic-related domains.

What are personal data? 
Personal data is any data that can be traced back to you as an individual. Think of your name, phone number, address or e-mail address. But also data such as your IP address or Nannic customer number are personal data. And other data unique to you, such as your Nannic order history or surfing behaviour.

Who do we process personal data from and how do we obtain it? 
We process the personal data of anyone who has (had) direct or indirect contact with Nannic, such as (business) customers and contacts of partners. We get the data directly from you, when you visit our website, create an account and enter certain data or when you contact our customer service.  

What data do we process from you, what do we use it for and for how long is it stored? 
Data for processing your order When you order something, we need certain data from you in order to deliver your order and keep you informed about your order. We also need this information for any returns or repairs. To do this, we collect your name, e-mail address, delivery address(es), payment details and your phone number. The data is needed to execute the agreement you entered into with us (or one of our sales partners).

Data in your account  
In your personal account, we store the following data, among others: your name, address(es), phone number, e-mail address, customer number, payment details and invoices.  If you indicate this when placing an order, we will save your payment card details. This way, you can immediately use the same payment card for your next order without having to enter all the details again. The saved payment card details can be viewed and deleted in your account. In your account we also save your order history including chosen delivery options, including digital items and subscriptions you have taken out.  In addition, we store in your account the preferences you specify, namely your wish list, language preference and your e-mail and personalisation preferences.  Our customer promise is to make our customers' lives easier. Therefore, we keep the data in your account for as long as you are an active customer with us. If you have not logged in with us for 10 years, we will delete all your data. In addition, you can request the deletion of your data in your account at any time.  

Pay afterwards  
We offer our customers the option to place an order and pay for it only after the products have been received. We call this the "post-payment" payment method.  If our records show that you have a number of outstanding invoices or that a collection process is underway, we do not offer post-payment.  

With whom will your data be shared?  
To deliver your order(s), we work with various logistics partners, such as Bpost, DHL and TNT. Our logistics partners receive your contact details and delivery and billing addresses. They need this information to deliver your parcel to the address you have chosen, to keep you informed of the delivery time by e-mail, SMS or via an app and to give you the opportunity to use additional services of these logistics partners (such as a different delivery address). The logistics partner is involved in the execution of the agreement with you as an independently responsible party. Other external service providers  
We also engage other external service providers to help with various things. Sometimes they also need personal data to do so. We share only the data necessary for the task that the external service provider performs for us. We do not sell your data to these service providers or other third parties. And we conclude agreements with all external service providers in which we agree what they are allowed to do with the data.  The type of work our external service providers perform for us are:  
* supporting the delivery of our digital services such as the hosting, maintenance and support of our websites and applications; 
* supporting our customer service department; 
* supporting our advertising and marketing campaigns; 
* Supporting customer research and obtaining ratings and reviews; 
* supporting the personalisation of our marketing messages and delivering an optimal shopping experience; 
* the provision of financial services, such as payment services, debt collection agencies and credit reference agencies; 
* assisting with research and analysis to improve our services; 
* supporting compliance with legal obligations.  

The government  
Sometimes we need to transfer personal data to the government. This may occur first of all if certain government agencies need this data to carry out their duties, such as the Tax Office. The police or judiciary may also need certain data in case of fraud or abuse. Finally, certain regulators may access personal data in the context of an investigation.  

How will your data be secured?  
Nannic takes many measures to secure your personal data. Both organisationally and technically. We have a group of in-house specialists who work daily to secure our systems and search for vulnerabilities. Through strict access control, we ensure that your personal data is only accessible to employees for whom it is necessary to work with it.    

What rights can you exercise in relation to your data?  
Right to information 
You have the right to a comprehensible and transparent explanation of how we handle your personal data and which rights you can exercise in that respect. In this privacy policy, we have therefore explained in detail which data we collect from you and how we handle your data.  

Right of inspection 
You have the right to request access from us to the data we have available about you at any time. You can request this at info@nannic.com. We will process requests within 30 days at the latest.  

Right of rectification 
You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is incorrect or outdated and/or to have it completed if it is incomplete. You can do this 24/7 in your account or at info@nannic.com.  

Right to object 
You have the right to object to the processing of your data if you disagree with the way we process your personal data. This right applies to the data we use for direct marketing. You can indicate to our customer service that you no longer wish to receive mail from us, you can also unsubscribe via the link in these mails. You can also ask us to stop using your data for personalised recommendations on the website. We process requests within a maximum of 30 days.  

Right to data portability 
You have the right to receive data that you have given to us in the context of the agreement(s) you have entered into with us in a machine-readable format, so that you can keep this data in a database of yours or another party. This includes your name, address and residence details and order history.  

Right to limitation 
You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your data. This means that we may keep your data but not use it. This right arises in a number of cases. If you believe this to be the case, please contact us via customer service.  

Right to be forgotten/request to delete account 
You have the right to request us to delete any data we hold about you. When you make a request to delete your account, we will delete data that can be traced back to you except for the data we are required or permitted by law to keep.  We cannot comply with this request if there are outstanding orders or invoices. After you have not logged in with us for 10 years, we will delete all your data.

Right to file a complaint 
You have the right to complain about the way we handle your data. If you have a complaint, we prefer to resolve it with you ourselves. Please contact our customer service.
