Mijn klant maakt zich zorgen omdat ze de app ‘Yuka’ gebruikt, waar ze producten kan scannen en ze dan zeggen of het een 'goed' product is of niet.
Hierbij scoren de producten van statum symbiosum® niet goed, enkel door de phenoxylethanol.

Als die ene app slimmer is dan alle beoordelaars samen bestaande uit toxicologen, dermatologen, farma wetenschappers, cosmetologen, voedingsdeskundigen (het zit namelijk ook in voeding) … dat zou heel straf zijn.
Onderaan deze tekst vind je wetenschappelijk informatie uit onze bibliotheek over de veiligheid van Phenoxyethanol. Veilig bevonden bij een maximale concentratie van 1 %, wij gebruiken 0,9 % om het product veilig te concentreren. Je klant moet ook begrijpen dat ieder Nannic product ±800 pagina’s telt aan veiligheidsrapporteringen
Ik begrijp dat jij wat machteloos staat tegenover die internet onzin, maar we zijn hier om je te steunen!
Geef dit even door aan je klant en ik wil graag die dingen weerleggen waarmee zij niet akkoord is uit de wetenschappelijke studie. Een generische APP samengesteld uit willekeurige informatie van het internet kan namelijk nooit een officieel erkende commissie van deskundigen vervangen.

Abstract
The SCCS considers 2-phenoxyethanol safe for use as a preservative with a maximum concentration of 1.0%, taking into account the information provided. The toxicokinetics default factor of 4.0 can be reduced to 1.0 yielding a minimum Margin of Safety (MoS) of 25 instead of 100 for the safety assessment of 2-phenoxyethanol. Therefore, the MoS of about 50 for children also covers this specific age group who might be higher exposed to 2-phenoxyethanol than adults. This Opinion does not take into account exposure from sources other than cosmetics.
